1. The basic concept of digital image

digital image processing is also called computer image processing. It refers to the process of converting image signals into digital signals and processing them by computers. At present, digital image processing technology has been widely used in many fields, such as aerospace, biomedical engineering, with high precision and repeatability; According to relevant national or international standards, it can be used for tensile, contraction, zigzag, shear and spalling tests of various materials, industrial inspection, robot vision, public security, justice, military guidance, culture and art, etc

Image resolution refers to the measurement method of the pixel density of an image. For a map of the same size, if the number of image pixels that make up the map is more, the higher the resolution of the image is, the more realistic it looks. Otherwise, the image appears rough. Pixel depth refers to the number of bits used to store each pixel, which is also used to measure the color resolution of the image. The pixel depth determines the number of colors that each pixel of a color image may have, or determines the number of gray levels that each pixel of a gray-scale image may have
